06.18.06 - Overblown, the Cougars entry in the 2006 Atlanta 48 Hour Film Project, won the Best Film award at Best of Atlanta screenings (part of the Atlanta Film Festival). The film also won prizes for Best Writing and Best Editing, as well as being recognized in the top three in many categories. Overblown will now play at the National Screening at a festival TBD. Website coming soon. (Or "eventually", take your pick) 05.21.06 - Spleen has been selected to screen at the 30th Annual Atlanta Film Festival on Sunday, June 11, 2006 @ 9:45 PM, before The Other Side. 02.25.06 - Return of the Jackalope has been selected to screen at the Faux Film Festival in Portland, Oregon. It will screen on April 2, 2006 @ 4 PM. 09.02.05 - We are proud to announce that the Cougars entry in the 2005 Atlanta 48 Hour Film Project, Trust Beam, won the Audience Award at the Thursday screenings in July. PlatoVision Pictures also had a spin-off entry, Concrete Brown, which was third in audience voting on Tuesday night. Both shorts have made the "best of" show, to be screened at the Midtown Landmark theaters on Thursday, Sept 8. 09.02.05 - Massive updates have occured on Return of the Jackalope in the past three months: the festival cut is complete and was screened at a cast & crew event last month. The film is now being sent out to festivals. The website has been launched, and there is now a form to sign up for e-mail updates about the film. We are still burning DVDs for the cast/crew members that did not pick them up at the screening. We will mail them out ASAP. 06.02.05 - The initial poster for Return of the Jackalope is done! You can check it out on the IMDb Page. A new website is coming soon! 04.26.05 - Preview video clips are now up in quicktime format for Return of the Jackalope. Post-production continues on this project, a rough edit is complete. We are currently tweaking the final product in hopes to submit to festivals this summer. 12.15.04 - Websites are now live for both Spleen and Return of the Jackalope. Check 'em out. 12.07.04 - Return of the Jackalope has finally been added to the Internet Movie Database. The page is located here, and more info should begin trickling in soon. Filming continues, and we're actually starting to see the end of the tunnel... but there's a lot more still to do. We're looking good, though. Matt Cornwell has been kind enough to take on the editing duties and he's editing as we go. The footage we have is working very well. The final product is going to be hilarious. 10.11.04 - We are proud to announce that Stragglers received the Best Experimental Film Award at the 2004 Cine-Macabre Horror & Sci-Fi Film Festival. 09.27.04 - The premiere dates for Stragglers have been announced. It will show at the Cine-Macabre Film Festival on Friday, October 8 at 4:00 in the Main Theater and Saturday, October 9 at 3:00 in Venue B. Please come out to Gainesville, GA to support our film! More details here. 09.21.04 - Filming has begun on our latest project, the feature-length mockumentary film, Return of the Jackalope. We'll have photos and updates from the shoots online shortly, so keep checking back for more info. 07.22.04 - We're proud to announce that Stragglers will be premiering at the Cine-Macabre Film Festival in October. More details as the screening gets closer... 06.29.04 - The IMDb has added Dropping the Gloves to its website. 06.21.04 - Our entry in the 2004 48 Hour Film Project, Dropping the Gloves, was awarded "Best Use of the Prop" as part of the Best of Atlanta show at the Atlanta Film Festival. 06.14.04 - Dropping the Gloves was named as part of the "Best of Atlanta" for the 2004 48 Hour Film Project. It will screen again on June 19 as part of the Atlanta Film Festival. 05.28.04 - Dropping the Gloves, the Cougars' entry in the 2004 Atlanta 48 Hr. Film Project, screened last night to rave reviews! We hope to have a website up for the film soon. Check back early and often... 05.21.04 - The IMDb has finally been updated with info on The Final Play, PlatoVision's entry in the 2002 48 Hour Film Project. 05.19.04 - The Burnt Sienna store is now live, including the Original Soundtrack album. All proceeds go to the Burnt Sienna festival entry fee fund. Please help us out! 04.16.04 - Burnt Sienna's cast & crew screening was held last night, in conjunction with First Cinema's premiere showcase. Thanks to all the people that attended. We hope to have a public screening soon. 04.14.04 - The Burnt Sienna website is in the process of getting up. This means, if there's broken links, I'm not done yet! Also, the original soundtrack album is in the final stages of completion. This CD features the original score by Markleford Friedman, tracks by Reign of Terror, sound clips from the film, plus 9 different remixes of the Donkey Tugger song, "Losing." The CD will be available for purchase online soon. 04.08.04 - The first, still very rough, cut of Spleen is complete. 04.03.04 - We'd like to thank our friends at Actorsphere.com for mentioning us in their newsletter.
