MICHAEL VAN OSCH
(ADRIAN)
Originally from Canada, Michael moved to the US in 1994 and began acting in Atlanta in 1999. Having been trained in the theatre in New York and Atlanta, he enjoyed working in many of Atlanta's theatres in such roles as Lt. Kaffee in "A Few Good Men," Louie in "Lost in Yonkers," Oberon in Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream," and George in "Our Town."

Michael has parlayed his theatre experience into a successful independent film and commercial career in the Southeast. In the last year he has enjoyed creating lead characters in films such as The Quest, City Dweller, The Christmas Story, Blackouts and Gadget Addict.

SAMANTHA WORTHEN
(ADRIAN'S WIFE)
After a successful stint in sales and management, Samantha traded in cold calls for auditions. Earlier projects included a variety of corporate industrials, commercial work and student films, as well as the role of Karen "The Burner" Turner in the Atlanta feature length Beat Daddies.

Samantha's roles have been predominantly on-camera, but she treasures the opportunity to be on stage as well. In addition to a couple of turns at the 24-Hour Plays in Atlanta, she fondly recalls the role of Kitty in the Georgia State University Player's production of "Six Degrees of Separation" under the direction of Kate Warner.

Other roles in feature films range from the "Radiant Home Shine" Floorwax Wife in False River, Lorena Mayes in Atlanta Blue, Older Brandy in Wine & Spirits to Pretty Nurse in The Other Side. She was Isabel Toboso in the FSU graduate film project, Torn and Sofia Butterfield in the Rummy Meridien Pictures short film, Statesmanship.

Most recently you may have caught Samantha as herself on the TBS Superstation show, "Movie & A Makeover" as well as in the PAX-TV show, "It's A Miracle". In the "Triggered Miracle" episode, she portrays Sheriff's Deputy Joy Burnham in the re-enactment of her own miraculous escape from a gunman's hand.

Spleen marks Samantha's first production with Cougars Film Group, and she looks forward to future collaborations

LANE CARLOCK
(ADRIAN'S SECRETARY)
is an Atlanta native who has been acting since she was 5 years old. She graduated magna cum laude with a degree in broadcast news from the University of Georgia, and then went on to work in TV news and talk radio but soon she wanted to get back to her first love, acting, and she has been working as a full-time actor ever since.

Lane has been the host of "Atlanta's Best New Homes" on WAGA Fox 5, as well as the host of several long running cable shows. She spends most of her time working on commercials, industrial films and voice-overs, but her real passions are theatre and film.

Some of her favorite places to perform recently are The Alliance Theatre, Synchronicity Performance Group and Actor's Express in Atlanta. In the past year, Lane has worked on five shorts and one feature.

LINDSAY GARRETT
(YOUNGER WIFE)
Lindsay was first mesmerized by acting at the age of seven and from then on she aspired to pursue her newly found interest.

She first appeared on the stage as Joseph in "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat" in the sixth grade and after this Lindsey appeared in several other musicals such as "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown" (as Peppermint Patty), "Little Shop of Horrors" (as one of the doo-wop girls) and plays at school as well as theatre in the Atlanta area.

She is currently enrolled in the magnet program at North Springs Public High School and has enjoyed it very much thus far.

Spleen is her first film but she plans on showing up in a lot more in the future.

BRIAN SPRUELL
(YOUNGER ADRIAN)
Brian grew up surrounding himself in drama and theater. He worked and acted in many local plays and stayed busy throughout high school with theater. He played lead roles in numerous musicals and debuted 2 of his own one act plays.

Spleen marks the first time working in film for Brian. The experience has sparked quite an interest for him in the local film community and beyond.

KIMBERLEY JURGEN
(NEIGHBOR)
Kimberly fascination with acting began with Yul Brynner's curtain call after "The King and I."

Her own first curtain call came many years later when, at the age of twelve, she played Elma in "Bus Stop"; reviews proclaimed her too mature for the role. Lately she is kept busy as Artistic Director of Atlanta Classical Theatre (which she founded in 1996) and through her work with many theatre companies throughout Atlanta as an actor, director and playwright.

After a hiatus of a few years, Spleen has afforded her the welcome opportunity to return to working on set.

LEWIS ODELL BENTON
(CLEANERS EMPLOYEE)
studied acting in the Midwest before moving to Atlanta, earning his bachelor's in stage acting performance from Evangel University in Springfield, MO and his post-graduate studies at Wayne State College in Nebraska.

At Wayne State, Benton worked on several television productions and short films, including serving as the anchorman for the Wayne State News.

Upon moving to Atlanta, Lewis has earned lead roles in several films, including If By Chance, A Girl's Tale and Burnt Sienna. He's also performed as a member of the Sketchworks comedy troup.

Recently, Lewis has taken on four roles for films currently in production, including a lead role in the SAG experimental film Veneer and supporting roles in Disturbing Consequences and The Jury.

STEVE WARREN
(MAN IN ELEVATOR #1)
When Steve was a boy he wanted to be a movie star when he grew up. He didn't realize how long it would take him to grow up. Most of his working life has been spent as a nationally syndicated entertainment feature writer (especially a movie critic!).

After a stint with a failed dotcom venture, Steve, who had occasionally worked as an extra (most visibly in Boycott and Striptease), turned to acting as a "midlife crisis career."

He quickly chalked up speaking roles in dozens of independent and student films and videos, including festival prize winners bottom and The Last Day in November.

He next plays a grumpy old cop in The Frame.

Still writing about movies when he's not appearing in them, Steve is looking forward to the day he can give himself a bad review.

JOEL HUNTER
(MAN IN ELEVATOR #2)
Joel has always aspired to be an actor. Taking his dream in his own hands, he started by taking acting classes at the Alliance Theater and other places around Atlanta; including private monologue coaching.

Joel appeared in 2002 48 Hour Film festival in The Final Play as the mad "yo-yo killer" and in "Witch Hunters Extraordinaire" as the weasely Reverend Falic and in Stragglers as the genetic scientist Harold Bains.

Other screen credits include short Stranded and just finished appearing in the feature Chosen.

He has also appeared in stage productions of "It's a Wonderful Life," "The Odd Couple." and "Book of Days."
